Champagne (Philadelphia, PA) - See all my reviews    This board is exactly what I had hoped for, and it rides like a tank...in a good way. The board feels very sturdy and well made, the grip is super grippy, the trucks are a reputable brand and ride very well. Actually riding the board takes a little getting used to, mostly in part to the large tail. The wheels are super soft and grippy, I just wish there were cutouts/ wheel wells as I've already encountered some wheel-bite from casual riding. The bearings have been making a weird sound, and don't ride very well at all...I will most certainly be swapping them out for an old pair of bones bearings. The board looks awesome, and whether or not people understand that it's a replica of Bart's board, it still grabs everyone's attention. The board is pretty heavy, the heaviest I've ever ridden, but it's made for cruising so I can't complain too much. Its my first board and I learned how to ride it in like 5 mins, I love it......... Totally recommend this board. (usually get sector nine) but this board is amazing!!! The only problem is I thought it came with risers, so as I was riding I did a sharp turn and rubbed the board with the wheel and almost fell off. So definately get risers for the board. 1/2inch the best for this board. But besides that this is a great board for cruising. This review is from: New Complete Longboard KICKTAIL 70's shape skateboard w/ 71mm wheels (Misc.) I ride a Rayne drop-through board in the city and was wanting to try out a kicktail. I will say that compared to the pricier boards and setups out there, this is not a bad board! It is totally ready to ride right out of the box. The deck has a bit of flex, it's not bouncy, but it's not completely stiff either. You won't get completely worn down trying to push it. It is a very smooth ride and feels nice bombing a hill. It carves well and has an all around nice feel to it. Long story short...if you are a beginner or considering getting into longboarding then I would say give this board a shot...it's cheaper than your top brands and you'll find out real quick if it's something you want to get in to. Oh..and you can order bearings if you want...but I found these not to be that terrible. You probably will want a skate tool though to loosen or tighten the wheels and trucks to what is best for you. If you get one...hope you enjoy it...I think this one is worth the price! Stay stoked! The only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars out of 5 is the fact that the bearings on the board were too tight when received in the mail. The product was not ready to ride on delivery as advertised. Having loosened the bearings, the longboard is able to turn much more effectively.
