Had boards from Hosoi/Powell Peralta/McGill, just to name the ones I can remember. Fast forward 30 years later(!), and I have not been on a board in at least 15 years, probably more. Due to issues with parking, I have had to park on the street, a good distance from my actual residence. The Wife gets the garage, leaving me to hoof it every day, so I decided I was going to get a skateboard. Experimented with biking, but it was a pain throwing the bike in and out of the back of my truck, plus I had to lock the bike if I was parking in a public place, etc. Skateboard was light, compact, easy to throw in the back seat, and actually makes it fun to go back and forth to my truck now.First got the box, I was VERY disappointed with the packaging.
